Virtual Field Trip and Writing in Google Drawing
How about taking your students on a virtual field trip and then writing about it.
- First, let's watch the virtual field trip from PBS:
- When your class is done go to Google Docs:
- Go into Google Drawing
- Have students go to the image icon (located on the tool bar..it is a picture)
- In the search box, type "US flag:"
- They can pick any American flag
- Under their picture of the American flag, insert a text box.
- Have them write a sentence or more depending on your grade level.
